Adjusting to NBA life without the college transition is very difficult. He's no longer the fastest, strongest guy out there anymore. He won't be able to hang out with teammates at nightclubs and bars. College allows them to develop that mental and physical maturity they need in the NBA.

So easy for these young kids in the league to end up running with the wrong crowd. Better to have a few college seasons under their belt at least. If they do end up in the pros it's best to "hire" their old friends to come along with them. Otherwise it's hard for them to know who to trust.

Nada. I mean the reason you go to college is to make more money, right? If the best can make more money in the NBA straight outta high school they should skip college. Show me the money!

I think they develop quicker as players in the NBA. They're playing with the best in the world and there aren't any limits on their practice time in the gym. They're also going to make more money going pro since they can get to that big 2nd contract (1st one is capped based on where they're drafted) sooner.
