Hell yeah! Soldiers are sacrificing their lives and health for our country more than anyone else. People on welfare can make more than soldiers! That's crazy.
Absolutely but only the enlisted ones! The soldiers themselves should be paid more in relation to the officers since they're putting their lives on the line so much more.
There are plenty of soldiers enrolling in the military so why should we pay them more? Supply and demand.
The country is having a major crisis with the national debt. I don't think they should raise their salaries. There's not a shortage of troops and would a corporation give all of their employees a raise if they were going bankrupt? Nope.
